It's a case of easy come...not so easy go.   Vegas is dubbed "Sin City" and I am the last person to judge what a person wants to do with their money, body or life but I have to call out Hubert Blackman, a New York college student  who is suing an escort service for $1.8 million. Hubert wanted female companionship.  He rolled the dice hoping that he wouldn’t crap out and asked for a "lady of the evening".  She showed up and “VIVA LAS VEGAS” he hit the jackpot.  All good right?  He beat the odds, beat the system.  He did  something illegal and got away with.   Did I mention that prostitution is illegal within the city limits of Vegas?  It is.

Well Hubert still wasn’t happy.  He  now is claiming a Las Vegas hooker did not spend enough time "making him happy"? He is suing her escort service for $1.8 million.

Yes, he is suing the company that provided the illegal services that he solicited.  That would be like a drug addict suing his pusher.

It gets better , Blackman said in the suit filed in Manhattan Federal Court,  "I also would like to get my $275 payment back and a $1.8 million verdict for the tragic event that happened.”   Yes, he is suing for 1.8 million dollars AND $275.00?!?  $275.00?  How much do school books cost?

Blackman was staying at the Stratosphere on Dec. 17 when he called Las Vegas Exclusive Personals to hire a stripper.  Blackman said the woman performed a lap dance for $155 and a sex act for another $120.  Instead of staying for the agreed-upon one hour, she left after just 30 minutes.

Stop right there!  Come on Hubert ?!?  You paid for an hour she "completed the mission" in half the time and that is her fault?  The phrase "What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas" was created specifically for this situation!  Why would you want to publicize the fact that your stamina can not last longer than Ty Murray on an angry bull?  Or crab legs at the buffet.  But I digress.

This hapless tourist called to demand some of his money back.  He is traumatized by this especially when HE CALLED THE COPS and they threatened to "bust him", the Las Vegas Sun reported Thursday. Blackman told the newspaper “the stripper solicited the sex act and he was unaware prostitution was illegal in Vegas.”

Hubert I am not a lawyer but I know ignorance of the law is not basis to make a case.   You invited a stripper to come to your hotel room what do you think a jury will think?  You asked her to stop by to watch movies and raid the mini bar?  If you want to do something that is ILLEGAL IN MOST PLACES IN THIS COUNTRY, you may want to ask around to see if it is okay where you are.  What do they teach kids in school these days?

By the way prostitution is legal in Nevada in places called Bunny Ranches.  They are on the outskirts of Vegas; you can take a cab I think roundtrip will run you about $275.
