Delays For Drivers In The Northtowns Begin Today
Paving starts today on Colvin Boulevard near the Youngmann Expressway (the 290) entrance. The left and center lanes are going to be closed on southbound Colvin Boulevard from early Thursday until 3pm. Friday night, the paving will take place on the on and off ramps from the southbound lanes of Colvin Boulevard.

The good news is, this should be done and complete before the winter really takes hold here in western New York. Most of the projects that have been going on since the last spring are wrapped up and things seem to be moving along pretty good for morning Drive in western New York. I know it’s frustrating when you get caught behind a string of cars in a construction zone. But the people working there want to get home to their loved ones as well. Not to preach but if it was your family member that was working there you would want every driver to be as focused as possible as they weave around the work that’s being done.
