Did You Know About This Disney-Inspired Attraction In Niagara Falls?

Can you imagine how different Disney would be if they had decided to build Disney World in Niagara Falls instead of Orlando? According to one Disney vlogger, there was a chance it might have happened.

Picture this: you want to go to the happiest place on earth, but instead of traveling to Florida, you just have to head to Niagara Falls. According to the YouTube page Brickey Vlog it was a scenario that was considered by Walt Disney and his brother Roy shortly after opening Disneyland in California.

They were looking for places to start their next theme park that they were going to name "Disney World."

Niagara Falls made sense for the next Disney theme park

When you think about it, it does make sense that they would've considered Niagara Falls. It was already one of the world's biggest tourist destinations. It would have taken the burden off of the park to bring people in because they would've already been there to see the falls.

There's a Disney-inspired attraction at Niagara Falls now

While talking about possibly opening a theme park in Niagara Falls, Walt used to dream about the kinds of attractions he could put there. Now, according to Brickey, there's an actual attraction that might remind you of one of your favorite rides at EPCOT.

It's called Niagara Takes Flight, A Soaring Adventure, and it looks a lot like EPCOT's Soarin' Around The World.
