Ok…I need your help.  This is one of the craziest things I’ve ever asked for.  But if you have a dog, especially a male, and have ever house trained it.  You might just be the person I’m looking for.

I’m sure many of you have been through this.  You love your dog.  You’ve trained other dogs in the past with no issues.  But then there’s this...

Here’s the problem.  My dog Frankie is pretty good about going outside to go to the bathroom.  Aside from a couple times when he gets excited and can’t contain himself, we don’t really have to worry about accidents.  He's a great dog and we love him very much.

So why is it that no matter how hard we try, no matter how many times we’ve cleaned the house, we can’t get that awful dog pee smell to go away.

Here’s why…

He’s getting it on his paws.  He’s not a leg lifter.  He is a squatter.

And this is where I need you.  Is there a way to train a dog to lift their leg?  There has to be a trick right?  I mean, the way I see it, we could either try to wipe his paws every time he comes back in, or…we could correct the behavior.  We don’t have that many paper towels to spare so I’m all for the latter.

Any help?
