Drive-Thru Job Fair Taking Place in Cheektowaga
On Wednesday more than 25 employers with over 100 positions to fill will be on the lookout for job candidates -- and you won't even have to leave your car to apply.
The job fair will take place Wednesday July 22 at the ProAmpac parking lot from Noon to 2 p.m. The address of the lot is 25 French Rd., at Union Rd, and the job fair is hosted by Express Employment Professionals of West Seneca.
WIVB reports the available jobs are located in Cheektowaga, West Seneca, Lancaster and the southtowns. Some available positions begin at $15.50 per hour.
Like any other job fair, candidates can be expected to be interviewed on-site and maybe even drive off newly-employed. The event is free, and you can pre-register here, or call (716) 800-4311.
But unlike any other job fair, this one is a drive thru. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, and meant as a way to limit touch-points between people, you may be interviewing right from your vehicle.
