Now that we're in July, many Western New York residents are counting down the days until the Erie County Fair is here. The Fair will return on August 11th and run through the 22nd at the Hamburg Fairgrounds.

There will be plenty of food and drinks there but you won't have to wait until then to grab a new hard cider that will debut soon...and something tells me that Buffalonians will love it.

According to their Twitter page, the Erie County Fair has teamed up with BlackBird Cider Works for Erie County Fair's 'Summer Cider.'

The brew is with loganberry and cherry!

The new hard cider will soon be available at TOPS Friendly Markets.

If you remember, the Erie County Fair also introduced a Lemon Strawberry Ale two years ago, which was a partnership with Flying Bison Brewing Company. It's called, "Fairtastic." That beer is also available at TOPS and at Flying Bison Brewing Company.

Summertime is my absolute favorite time of the year when it comes to beers and other alcoholic beverages. I know the fall gets a lot of love with Oktoberfest beers and other autumn favorites, but summer beer is unmatched for me. I love the fruit infusions and sours that come along with the warm weather.

This new summer cider looks incredible and the fact it has loganberry will make a lot of people in Buffalo happy to try it.
