This first event definitely caught my attention.  If you didn’t know by now I am the biggest Rolling Stones fan.  Imagine my excitement then when I read this event happening this weekend at the Lancaster Opera House!  Today they present Glimmer Twins!  Glimmer Twins you ask?  Well this is a unique performance that takes a trip back in and time.  This show will let you experience The Rolling Stones in the 1970s!  Not only does that sound fantastic but there is seriously these guys have an uncanny resemblance to Mick Jagger and Keith Richards.  Not Mick and Keith now but them back in their prime!  This show evens goes to all extremes giving special attention to the minutest detail both musically and visually!  If you’re a Stones fan or even if you’re not you’ll be dancing in the aisle to this production!  The Glimmer Twins are definitely one of the top tribute bands out there these days!  There’s show for this production tonight at 7:30 at the Lancaster Opera House.

Another fantastic event happening this weekend that will get you outside is tomorrow at the Tifft Nature Preserve.  The event is called 2013:  Year of the Snake at Tifft!  According to the Chinese Zodiac Calendar is the Year of the snake so slither down to Tifft to learn more about the serpents!  You’ll spend the day examining the history of snakes through different cultures and how society views these creatures today!  You’ll even get the chance to get up close and personal with live snakes!  Yeah that really got your attention now!  Spend the day even learning all about the different types of snakes that you can find at the Preserve in the spring!   The event runs at the Tifft Nature Preserve on Sunday from 2pm to 3:30p.
