This was a fun little project that ended up taking me a couple of hours because the more I could think of and the more I could find led me to another one.

I've been meaning to do this for some time, so if you're a major country fan you may notice that there are a bunch of 'Buffalo' references in songs to The Queen City itself. The older the songs get, the more references there seems to be.

Remember any of these? Any I can add to the list?

Big And Rich – Coming To Your City

    And rocked it out
    And Chippewa's where we go
    When we're up in Buffalo
Don't you know those yankees drink enough to DROWN

    Lyle Lovett – Natural Forces

    We loaded up in Buffalo
Took 90 South down to Ohio
    On 80 West I'm Frisco-bound
An' when I get there I'll turn back around

Johnny Cash – I've Been Everywhere

Travel, I've had my share, man
    I've been everywhere
I've been to, Reno, Chicago, Fargo, Minnesota, Buffalo, Toronto,

Blue Rodeo – What Am I Doing Here?

This one is written entirely about the Erie County Fair...

    On this useless night
    With you so far away
I stand in front of this ferris wheel
And I wonder what am I doing here
And I wonder what am I doing here

And all the drunks just stumble by

    Jimmy Buffett--Manana

She said I can't go back to America soon

It's so goddamn cold it's gonna snow until June

Yeah, they're freezin' up in Buffalo stuck in their cars

And I'm lyin' here 'neath the sun and the stars.

    Willie Nelson--Me And Paul

On a package show in Buffalo with us
And Kitty Wells and Charlie Pride
The show was long and we're just sittin' there
And we'd come to play and not just for the ride

    Jake Owen--Keepin' It Country

Lookin' around it's good to see
Everybody out there keepin' it country

From Muscle Shoals to Santa Rosa
    Bakersfield to Tullahoma
    Baton Rouge up to Buffalo
Anywhere that you might call home
