Garth Brooks Is Excited For Buffalo–Calls Western New York A “Party”
We are six weeks away from Garth Brooks coming to Western New York and playing Highmark Stadium. In fact, it will be the first time Garth will play the home of the Buffao Bills. The last time that a country concert was at the stadium was the George Strait Festival back in 2000. Of course, some of you might remember that day as the time that Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw got arrested for the 'horse incident'.
The world's greatest entertainer will be here on July 23, 2022, and he was talking about Buffalo this week and hit on two things: the shooting that happened on May 14, and the atmosphere of Western New York.
Music is a unifier. Music is a healer. Buffalo is one of those places that’s just a guaranteed good time – a party that’s waiting to happen. But in this particular time, there are going to be moments of healing…moments of unity…moments of laughter…moments of crying. Every emotion that you run. And for me, that’s what music is all about.
Garth knows how to throw a party, but you can bet that he is going to acknowledge the victims and their families and the hurt that Western New York has felt after the events on Jefferson Avenue on May 14.
Tickets for Garth Brooks go on sale on June 17, 2022.
I spelled out all of the information for you to make it easy. Do you need a COVID vaccine? Why are all of the tickets the same price? Can I buy more than 8 tickets? I wrote out a bunch of answers to some of the most asked questions for the Garth Brooks concert in Buffalo right here.
