Believe it or not, gas prices are trading in the right direction. That direction is DOWN. The gas prices are possibly going to go under $3 on a national average soon, according to GasBuddy. In fact, gas at a couple of Western New York gas stations is $2.95 or less.

GasBuddy, the popular website that pinpoints gas stations and their gas prices, reports that the national gas price is down to about $3.50. That is over 22 cents from when it was last month.

For the third straight week, the nation’s average gas price has declined, falling 12.4 cents from a week ago to $3.52 per gallon today according to GasBuddy data compiled from more than 11 million individual price reports covering over 150,000 gas stations across the country.

Prices are certainly coming down at the source. Crude oil dropped 5 bucks and was selling at 74.22 per barrel. GasBuddy says that is the lowest since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Inflation has been brutal for everyone across the country, but Gas Buddy predicts, and acknowledges, that even with inflation, the prices will go down.
