Got An Old Flag? Wanna Turn It In?

If you have an old, beat up, worn out American Flag and you aren’t sure how to properly dispose/retire it….Here’s a way!   Starting today through the rest of the work week (June 4^th-8^th) all..... Buffalo-Niagara YMCA branches will collect those flags for a ceremony on Sunday at Forest Lawn Cemetery.  If you have a flag, but want to know a little more click here. Many people get the wrong idea about flag burning, but in this case burning symbolizes a rebirth and or purification!

You are also allowed to seal your old flag in a bag or a box, then bury it!
