2026 is starting with some bad news for foodies in Western New York, as a popular spot for burgers announced it will be closing at the end of January.

Popular Burger Joint Set To Close In Buffalo, New York

The owners of Allen Burger Venture announced on social media that they will be closing down at the end of the month. In the post, the owners cited a change in the food scene in Buffalo and the challenges faced by small, independently owned businesses as the reason they are closing down.

The Buffalo food scene isn’t what it used to be, and like so many small, independent restaurants, the challenges of these changing times have led us to this difficult decision. While this chapter is coming to an end, what we take with us is overwhelming pride in what we built and deep appreciation for everyone who made it possible.

The restaurant will remain open until January 31st, and have some updated hours. The kitchen will be open every day except Tuesday from Noon until 8 pm. Depending on demand, they might have extended hours on the weekend.
