Outdoor Lighting Law Has People Upset in Lancaster, New York

Most of the bullet points and rules of the proposed law from the town of Lancaster mentioned lighting that could potentially disturb or keep people from sleeping. You can read the law below that is being proposed and what time the lights would need to be turned off and distances from neighbors with lights.
The updated lighting code for the Town of Lancaster will be discussed at Town Hall in Lancaster, New York Monday night at 7:05 PM.
Other towns across New York State have dealt with a similar situation and the past couple of months as well but a lot of Lancaster residents upon seeing the notice for the meeting Monday night had a lot to say on social media as you can imagine.
