Listener Seeks Relationship Advice From WYRK

Here at the station I receive all kinds of emails, mostly people ask questions about songs, concerts or local events in the area.  It’s rare to receive letters seeking relationship advice.  Here’s one that came in last night, I will not include the person’s name but I wanted to get your opinion as to how you would answer this letter. I certainly am not qualified to give advice seeing that I’m single and am not the type to put myself out there like this listener as chosen to do.  Here is the letter.

Hey my name ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­ _________ and I listen to your show often as I fall asleep each night. Lately I have been feeling very alone when going to bed it’s been a year since my ex spent the night and about 6 months since we ended our affair all together, my story is a long one and I won't bore you but was wondering if you had any letting ago advice. This man was everything I never thought I needed or deserved him taught me how to truly love. It was bad timing but knowing we're connected at the soul I'm having a really hard time knowing were soul mates and that neither of us wanted to walk away but we had to n haven't spoken since. Any help would be appreciated n learning to let go of such a pure love.”
