Pushed back five months because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the awards aired on Wednesday night and features the same performances and awards you're used to, just no crowds to cheer.

One of the highlights of the night was when Luke Combs performed his song "Better Together," which he also announced as his next single.

The song will be the fifth single off his What You See Is What You Get album. The album's deluxe version, which features five brand new songs, will be released on October 23rd.

"Better Together" was written by Combs, Dan Isbell and Randy Montana and is sure to be a wedding anthem for many. The song was inspired by Luke's wife, Nicole.

This song has had one of the strongest reactions of any song of Luke's, which is saying a ton since every one of his songs has a great reaction.

It's a no-brainer single.
