You Can Smoke Weed At New York State Fair This Year
While selling marijuana (and other drugs) at the New York State Fair is illegal, if you smoke marijuana, you're able to do it legally. However, you don't have free reign to smoke wherever you want. The fair has six designated areas for smoking. These areas allow cigarette and cannabis smoke, in addition to anything else that is legal to smoke in New York.
Smoking is prohibited by law inside the Fair’s buildings and by policy at The Fair’s Chevy Court and Chevy Park concert venues. Beginning with the 2022 Fair, smoking will only be allowed in one of six confined areas designated for smoking as seen on this map. Any product that is legal to smoke in New York State can be smoked in the designated area.
