Marv Levy, who is a World War II Veteran along with being the winningest coach in Buffalo Bills history and a member of the NFL hall of Fame, gave a letter he wrote to the Chicago Tribune, which the tribune never published despite numerous attempts by Levy,  to Erik Brady over at the Buffalo News

In the letters, he talks a lot about how the tragic attack in Buffalo affected him. He makes a long and reasoned argument for eliminating the second amendment because of all the shootings that have taken place. It's an opinion that not everyone shares and is a very hot take in today’s climate.

I can’t give you direct quotes because ya gotta pay for the Buffalo News, and I recommend you do, but that’s the very short summary of it, and it doesn’t do it justice AT ALL so read it here: The Buffalo News.

Now, for those of you wondering or not sure what exactly the second amendment says, here it is:

Second Amendment

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

People have all sorts of opinions on the meaning of this and how far it extends or doesn’t. All of that is for you to decide. Nevertheless, Levy wants it gone. That’s going to get a LOT of people talking.

What do you think? Does it bother you, regardless of what you believe, that he said this?
