Jamie McMurray says it's what every race car driver dreams about every day to be put in that position.  He was talking about holding the million dollar check that comes with winning the Sprint All Star race at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

He says he was even thinking about what he would do with the money if he won.  That was to send his kids to college.  So with that million dollar prize in mind he went for it.  He had to get past Carl Edwards though.  At 190 miles an hour thru six straight corners they battled side by side until McMurray finally edged ahead and when he did there was no looking back. McMurray took the checkered flag for his first All-Star race win just ahead of Kevin Harvick.

For the second week in a row Harvick was gaining on the leader in the final laps but ran out of time.  Harvick was forced to settle for second place.  Matt Kenseth was third followed by Dale Earnhardt, Jr. and Edwards to complete the Top 5.

Clint Bowyer and A.J. Allmendinger were the Top Two finishers in the Sprint Showdown the night before to qualify for the All Star race and in a surprise, Josh Wise was voted Fan Favorite to earn the final spot in the lineup.

The season's longest race, the Coca Cola 600 is Sunday night.
