Mounted for Meals Food Drive-Saturday December 8th at Southgate Plaza!

Hey, it's Craig Matthews letting you know if you couldn't make it to the "Food 2 Families" food drive today, you'll have another chance tomorrow and get to meet me, my fellow Mounted Deputies and our horses! As many of you know, in addition to my radio career I work in law enforcement with the Erie County Sheriff's Office Mounted Reserve Unit. Our event is called "Mounted for Meals" and it also benefits the great work of the Food Bank of WNY!

For nearly a decade, we do this food drive at Christmas-time at the Southgate Plaza on Union Road in West Seneca in front of The Market in the Square. Additionally, we have a food drive during the Easter season at the Broadway Market. Come join us 10:00AM-1:00PM tomorrow (Saturday, December 8th) and bring whatever you can. Perishable or non-perishable food items of every kind will be accepted. Or, put some "loot in the boot" for the Food Bank. And by the way, not to brag, the Mounted Unit does not get paid when we do these food drives. We do this because we know the need to help the hungry is so great and we are all so blessed. Help us help the less fortunate if you are able.
