NASCAR Championship Down to Round of 8

The Monster Energy NASCAR Playoff Series is down to the Round of 8 after Chase Elliott won Sunday's Holiday Casino 400 at Kansas Speedway.  It's Elliott's second win in three races and his third in the last 11.  

Since Elliott's victory two weeks ago at Dover and Aric Almirola's win last week at Talladega had already assured that they would advance to the Round of 8, the other drivers advanced on points.  Kyle Larson needed a victory to advance but came in third behind second-place finisher Kyle Busch.  Erik Jones and Martin Truex, Jr. completed the Top 5.

Elminated along with Larson was Ryan Blaney, Brad Keselowski and Alex Bowman.
