Tough day for Toyota on Sunday with 10th place Kyle Busch's Toyota the only one finishing in the Top 10.

Chase Elliott won at Kansas for his second win in three races and his third in the last 11.

Elliott battled back from an early penalty for a yellow-flag pit violation to win a race he led for only the last 11 laps

Elliott's win was the first this season for Hendrick Motorsports and the 250th all-time.

An impressive night for Kyle Busch at Richmond Speedway who started 32nd and weaved his way to the front, then survived a series of late restarts and overtime to win his third straight race.

Ryan Blaney and Chase Elliott were the winners of Thursday night's Twin Can-Am Duel 150-mile qualifying races. That means that Blaney and Elliott will line up in the second row for Sunday's Daytona 500 behind pole winner Alex Bowman and Denny Hamlin.

Sunday's race at Martinsville Speedway needed overtime to decide.  It went five extra laps and on the final lap Kyle Busch held off Martin Truex, Jr. to win for the second time, fifth time this season and his 43rd career win.  It guarantees him a spot among four drivers in the championship race at Homestead-Miami on November 19th.

The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs is down to the Round of 12 after Sunday's race at Dover.  For the second week in a row Kyle Busch was the winner, this time at Dover International Speedway.

The first race in the Chase for the Sprint Cup championship at Chicagoland Speedway goes to Martin Truex, Jr.  Using a late pit stop for new tires, Truex caught and passed rookie Chase Elliott in the final restart of the race and held on for the victory.  Elliott had led 75 laps until that last caution flag came out.
