We spoke with New York's Lt. Gov. Kathy Hochul on Clay and Company this week about what the state sees as the plan for districts to reopen or at least start the school year.

It all comes down to numbers and as of this interview, New York was holding at less than 5% infection rate which is the standard for any sort of reopening strategy to be put in to place.

While we wait for things to move forward, the best thing we can do is try to stay healthy and eliminate the spread of COVID.
