The on again, off again Buffalo Sabres were off Sunday night.  Instead of building on the big win Saturday night in Toronto they took penalty after penalty against the Vancouver Canucks and it cost them.

Officially the Canucks scored one power play goal, but they scored twice more in the moments following other man advantage situations and it led to a 4-2 win at Key Bank Center.

Tyler Ennis and Kyle Okposo scored the Buffalo goals.  Okposo's goal late in the first period tied the score at 2-2, but another poor second period for the Sabres was costly.  The Canucks build a two goal lead and the Sabres couldn't catch up.

It's been a frustrating couple of weeks for the Sabres and their fans as they alternated winning and losing games.  If the pattern continues they should come out on top when they travel to Ottawa to play the Senators on Tuesday.
