Will Raising Cane’s Be Expanding to New York State?
When it comes to fast food options in New York State, you have the usual suspects at your disposal.
McDonald's, Burger King, Wendy's, Dunkin', Tim Hortons, KFC and Taco Bell are among the most popular across the state.
However, it's no secret that this state and the Northeast in general does not have the wide selection of fast food options that other regions across the country do.
The west coast, Midwest and southeast all have a wider pick of fast food options.
But could one popular fast food chain, which specializes in chicken fingers, be coming to New York State with an expansion?
In case you missed it last month, news came of Raising Cane's expanding with new locations in the State of New Jersey.
Thrillist says the chicken finger chain will open three New Jersey locations in 2023 with five more by 2024. There are also plans for Raising Cane's locations in the heart of New York City.
This means Raising Cane's will be in Ohio, New Jersey and New York City...the next logical step would be to expand to locations across New York State.
In August, Buffalo Bills fullback Reggie Gilliam tweeted at Raising Cane's to bring a location to Buffalo next, and Raising Cane's specified they're not in Buffalo "yet."
The fact they're expanding rapidly like they are, means more locations are coming. I would hope we get New York State locations within the next five years.
Bojangles is also expanding to New Jersey and that's another popular fast food chain in the southeast that could expand across New York in the not-so-distant future.
