Remember that moment two years ago when Dierks Bentley pulled a little boy from the crowd to come on stage with him at the WYRK Taste of Country? The boy was holding a sign that said, "I Held On" because he had been given a clean bill of health after a battle with brain cancer. Unfortunately, he's got another fight on his hands.

Recently doctors found that some of the cancer had come back.

Yeah, you can imagine the shock and disappointment. Now he has a summer that will involve the anticipation of aggressive chemo and a stem cell transplant in his near future.

While he had the surgery to remove the malignant tumor, he is now struggling with the fact that he won't be able to swim this summer. He had a birthday party scheduled for last weekend that obviously had to be postponed. That's what he's the most upset about.

But maybe we can help.  His parents sent us an email asking if you would be able to send him a card to help raise his spirits:

We are having his birthday party this Saturday, but he is really down.  I have started a campaign to get him birthday cards.  No gifts, just love.  Homemade cards are the best, and the cornier the jokes are, the better.  So break out the crayons, glitter glue, and puff paints and send him a happy birthday card.  For the cost of one stamp you can make this kid smile.  Can you help? The more cards, the better.
