Ruth Bader Ginsburg Plans A Trip To Buffalo In August

She is a U.S. Supreme Court Justice, and today it was announced that she will be coming to Buffalo in August.

According to WIVB, one of the most outspoken justices on our Supreme Court is coming to speak to students at the UB Law school.  Ruth Bader Ginsburg is a New York Native who grew up in Brooklyn during the depression and has risen to become a Supreme Court Justice.

She recently had a movie (On The Basis of Sex) made about her and her fight to become not only a Supreme Court Justice but just to earn respect as a lawyer and a woman.

Ginsburg was invited to come to Buffalo to speak by one of her friends, Buffalo attorney Wayne Wisbaum before he unfortunately passed away in December.  Ginsburg has decided to dedicate this appearance to him.

The appearance is planned for August 26th and will include a special appearance in the evening at Kleinhan's Music Hall.
