38 Starbucks Set to Close Immediately in New York State

Starbucks is abruptly going to close almost 500 stores this week. Their fiscal year just ended and there are about 40 New York State stores that immediately closed.

You will see a sign on the door saying that they are closed. Starbucks has not been doing well financially and is closing all of the under performing stores in New York State. Maybe there are just so many more options for coffee right now. In New York State, Tim Hortons is starting to take over, where a cup of coffee is significantly cheaper.

There is a Starbucks on the corner of Transit Road and French Road in Cheektowaga, New York and Starbucks customers were worried that it is closed for good. It is just temporarily closed while they do some renovations and is not one of the Starbucks that are closing in New York State

How many Starbucks are there in the United States and how many Tim Hortons are there in the United States?

Starbucks is without a doubt the king of coffee in the United States. They have about  18,000 locations across the United States where as Tim Hortons has just under 700 locations (they expect that by 2028 they are going to have over 1000 locations in the United States) and Dunkin Donuts has over 9,000 locations.
