The End Of Dry Summer For New York State?
So far, it has been an incredible summer here in the Empire State. As we get ready for the second half of July and the start of the second half of summer, there are still some great things to look forward to. The New York State Fair will wrap up an exciting year of concerts, tractor pulls, festivals and fun. But will the good, dry weather stay for it all?
The forecast is calling for some heavy rain and storms to be in portions of New York State for the next few days. Wednesday should bring in some scattered heavy storms and it looks like the trend of mostly dry weather may be coming to an end.
The dry weather caused drought conditions for the region and farmers and homeowners have been trying to keep up. The good news is that most of the state will get the rain, including New York City.
The extended forecast shows many days of sunshine and warmth followed by a few days of rain. A more normal and satisfying pattern for those of us who are growing veggies!
