Trick or treat

Halloween should be a fun night and it should also be a safe one.  It's one of those weird, unpredictable holidays....with tons of kids in costume darting across streets, strangers in masks knocking on your door and house parties with lots of booze and hardly enough designated drivers.  With that said, here are a few tips for kids, parents, homeowners etc..etc...

Halloween is just a day away.  In an effort to make you sound and feel smarter, here are some tidbits of information about the holiday, that you can share with your friends.

Earlier this week Buffalo made the Forbes ‘most dangerous cities’ list so it’s only fitting that we bounce back from that only to be included in the twenty best cities for Trick or Treating.  I should point out that technically the city of Buffalo wasn’t mentioned but instead five neighborhoods in Western New York

We've seen a lot of incarnations of Psy's 'Gangnam Style.' Even still, we never predicted we would see the song in spooky Halloween light show form.

Halloween is the best holiday around, hands down. Why? We get boatloads of candy for free, we can dress up as Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson and no one will bat an eyelash. Is there anything more magical than parading around in ridiculous garb and entering sugar coma after sugar coma? No way!

I’ve been putting off buying my trick or treat Halloween candy because I always buy my favorites and I’ll eat some before the kids hit my door step.  Growing up in the country we didn’t have a multitude of houses to visit but the good thing was most of the houses were people we knew or relatives of ours and that meant we would collect some good loot.

With Halloween on Monday, I figured to give out a warning to those inexperienced Halloween candy buyers.  This also goes out to the few homes that feel heath food is the way to go.  Here are the 10 Worst Halloween Handouts.  These are in no particular order!
