During last night’s Buffalo Bills game, the excitement in the air was palpable. 

It was more than being in the thick of the playoffs and needing a win to move on to the AFC Championship. It also wasn’t just the fact that the Bills were taking on their arch-rivals, the Kansas City Chiefs, on their own turf at Highmark Stadium for the first time in five years. 

Last night, the energy in the air at Highmark Stadium was electric, because Bills Mafia was sharing the stands with Taylor Swift.

Taylor Swift Cheers on the Chiefs In Buffalo, New York

The buzz in Western New York was at a peak all week with the possibility of Taylor Swift coming to town to cheer on her man, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. And then, it happened.

With Brittany Mahomes, Donna Kelce, and Jason Kelce in tow, the pop superstar sat in a suite at the stadium to root for the Chiefs in full view of Bills fans. 

Rocking a red beanie and a white and red letterman jacket, Taylor managed to stand out in the crowd, even though she was living and breathing the same Buffalo air as us. 

It was crazy to watch her react with the same intensity as the rest of us (granted, for the other team), whether it was elation after a touchdown or concern during an intense play. However, truth be told, we really wish that we got to watch her disappointment after losing to the Bills. 

Sigh. Maybe next year.
