The Buffalo Bills were dealt awful news earlier this week, when it was announced by head coach Sean McDermott that star edge rusher Von Miller had ACL damage, which was repaired, and that he would miss the remainder of the 2022 season.

The surgery was exploratory to aid in the repair of his torn lateral meniscus, but it was discovered there was ACL damage enough to fix it.

The loss means the Bills will now have to rely on other, such as Greg Rousseau and A.J. Epenesa for the outside pass rush, but Miller posted a video on Wednesday which showed he was in good spirits.

Miller also has an eye on a future GM role by the sounds of it.

On the Pat McAfee Show today, Miller said that he will be shadowing Bills general manager Brandon Beane to learn about the GM role. He will also go to the 2023 NFL Combine with the front office as well.

Miller has expressed before that he would love to be in a front office position after football and the fact he will shadow Brandon Beane couldn't be a better start.

Miller still has five years on his contract after this season, so Miller isn't close to being done with his NFL career, but I agree with McAfee that the game of football is better with Miller a part of it forever.

We don't know whether or not Miller will definitely be a GM one day but I'm sure Bills fans would be over the moon if he took over as GM for Beane one day.
