WNY Gets Its First Frost Advisory Of The Season Tonight
After weeks of temperatures above the mid sixties and into the upper seventies at times, many people are anxious for fall. Tonight we get a little touch of it.
It's not snow quite yet, but it is the first frost advisory of the season. The National Weather Service is calling for a frost advisory for Niagara, Orleans, Monroe, Wayne, Northern Cayuga, Erie, Genesee, Livingston, Ontario, and Chautauqua counties from midnight until 8 am tomorrow (10/17) morning.
Of course it's always a good reminder to bring in any outdoor plants that may be damaged due to the frost.
"Frost may damage sensitive outdoor plants if they are not protected or brought inside"
