World’s Largest Robot Brings Cartoons To Life [WATCH]
If you are a fan of Transformers or any cartoon that has a robot in it, you may have to do a double take when you see the world's largest robot!
Japanese engineers have worked hard to design and bring to life this mega-bot!
According to an article from Popular Mechanics, the 60 foot robot is a beast!
Inspired by the fictional Japanese robot of the same name—which has appeared in over 50 TV series and movies since 1979, as well as many manga comics and video games—this Gundam features a staggering 24 degrees of freedom. That means the robot can pick up its legs to walk, bend its knees, turn its head, and contort its fingers to mime hand signals.
With the boys in control of what we watch on television most afternoons, we have become experts on the show Transformers and this robot is so amazing to watch move. It really is a look at what the future may hold for us. Can you imagine if we had a war that had just robots battling it out?
Below is video of the mega-bot being put together. How fun would it be to get the controls of this thing and walk it around your neighborhood for one day. You could be the talk of the town on Halloween!
