The Buffalo Sabres closed out a three-game western road trip with a 2-0 loss against the Los Angeles Kings on Saturday night.  The Sabres played well enough defensively and got good enough goaltending from Robin Lehner to win, but just couldn't generate enough offensively against a tough Kings team.

A second period goal by Tanner Pearson was all the Kings would need as former Sabre goaltender Jonas Enroth made 23 saves to pick up his seventh career shutout.  The Sabres made it easy on him though.  Pearson scored again late in the third period to clinch it and send the Sabres back to Buffalo with their second shutout in three games in California.

The Sabres are home for the next three games, Tuesday against the Connor McDavid and the Edmonton Oilers, Thursday against Calgary and Saturday afternoon they host Minnesota.
