Chimpanzee Seen Driving in Car Around Western New York

What is going on around here? Has anyone in Western New York, specifically in Niagara Falls seen this? Apparently, this is true. There is a man who owns a chimp and he is currently training the chimpanzee to do karate.

Yes, this is a true story.

Joe Augustell, who lives in Niagara Falls, took to Facebook and posted about the chimp and the picture he took.

To all my non Niagara Falls people, yes this is a real photo and yes there is a guy in the Falls who trains chimpanzees how to fight karate. lol I took this on the 56th street bridge years ago. I had to do a double take. I thought I was seeing things.

I had to do a lot of digging, but it does seem that this is true.

Locals already know about it. People in the comments were talking about the well-known chimp in Niagara Falls.

This is the truth! He owns an chimpanzee sanctuary and karate studio, at least he did… lived across the street from my grandpa 😂. Nicest guy

When I was bringing it up to some people in The Falls, they told me that the chimps name is Charlie and to look him up on YouTube. So, of course, we had to do that. Take a look at the video below!
