Stop us if you've heard this one before.  The Jack Eichel trade is the gift that keeps on giving.  This time, the internet hates him....for doing a cartwheel.

Who knew that when Jack Eichel was traded from the Buffalo Sabres to the Las Vegas Golden Knights back in November of 2021, we would still be talking, and laughing about it nine months later. Yet, here we are.

Fans roasted him when the Sabres and Knights wound up having the same record after the trade. Fans let him have it when the Golden Knights missed the playoffs at the end of the 2021-2022 season.  And fans even let him have it when a picture of him and his hamster Gorgonzola was circling social media.

And now social media is letting him have it for the most random of things.  Him doing a cartwheel.

Eichel was taking part in the 'Battle for Vegas' charity celebrity softball game.  He was on a team led by Las Vegas Golden Knights Right Wing  Reilly Smith, on a roster that featured several other Golden Knights players. They were taking on a team led by Las Vegas Raiders running back Josh Jacobs.

The game took place earlier this week at Las Vegas Ballpark in downtown Summerlin, a suburb of Las Vegas.  Team Reilly Smith took down team Jacobs 27-20.

But the highlight of the (k)night was when the former Buffalo Sabre blasted a home run over the left field fence.

After he rounded third and headed for home,  halfway down the third-base line, he broke into a celebratory cartwheel.

The internet was not impressed.

First off, one fan wanted to remind us all about Jack's neck surgery.

Then we were reminded about his fragile injury history...

Then, the doubters surfaced...

This fan just wasn't impressed...

This guy makes a very valid point.

BWAHAHAHAH!  Truth Bomb Below!

And we close things out with a Buffalo fan...
