The sunshine is one day too late for the total solar eclipse, but we will take it here in Western New York.

Today might be the nicest day of the year so far in 2024, and we could end up setting a new record high for today.

The current daily record temperature high for April 8th is 80 degrees and that was set back in 1969.


It has been a very warm year already here in Western New York. This past February tied for the warmest February in Buffalo history. On average, the February temperature for 2017 and for 2024, was 34.8 degrees.

So what will April bring? If it is anything like today, it will be another warm month here in the 716.
