This Monday is our nation's birthday and I thought we would pay tribute to our country with some patriotic songs this weekend.  I am hoping you will join me this Saturday from 6am to 10am for Wide Open Country. The beautiful thing about country music is that we have so many truly wonderful patriotic songs that are part of our format here at WYRK.  There are many that still give me goosebumps no matter how many times I hear them. A perfect example would be Lee Greenwood's "God Bless The U.S.A."  I am really looking forward to the show this Saturday morning and hearing from you as well.
