Jordan Poyer Shows Off Shocking Physical Deformities
Football takes a toll on people. Sure, it will mess with fans mentally, but physically, the players go through some massive injuries. Some of the toughest players are left with some of the most gruesome deformities from dealing with injuries that never quite heal.
Jordan Poyer was a guest with Eric Wood on his "Centered on Buffalo" Podcast recently and showed some of them off. He's been in the league for 13 years now and his body is starting to show it.
Be prepared, these images could be disturbing to some.
When Wood posted a picture showing Poyer as an upcoming guest on his podcast, some people thought the picture of his fingers might have been photoshopped.
Sadly, they aren't. While Poyer says they're just ugly, they're also pretty deformed, and will probably stay that way for the rest of his life. He chalks it up to being part of the process and what happens when you're in the league for 13 years.
This is one of the reasons these players want championships so badly
Quite often, you'll hear people say that football is "just a game," and they're right. It's a game. But when you make sacrifices like that to be able to say you're the best, you want something to show for it. It's why players keep coming back and fighting for it year in and year out. If you're going to have scars that last like that for your whole life, you want to be able to look back and say that you gave it your all to be the best.
If you'd like to hear the whole podcast and catch more of what Jordan Poyer had to say about things like the trade deadline, how some of the young players are developing, and more, it's available now. Or just click here to see his conversation with Eric Wood.
