At the beginning of last season, the only people who thought Josh Allen would be a serious contender for MVP were Bills fans.  That's not the case this year.

People would say it, but few believed it.  "Josh Allen is gonna be the MVP."

Very few people actually thought he stood a chance to win the league MVP honor.  Yet, when the votes were counted, he was second in line to win it.  Aaron Rogers from the Green Bay Packers won the award and rightfully so.  He had an incredible year.

But this year, according to Matt Bove at WKBW, Josh Allen is in talks of possibly winning it for the 2021 season.  Oddsmakers are saying that he is third in line this year.

And yes...at this point, they're saying that it will be Aaron Rogers and Patrick Mahomes in front of him with Mahomes being the favorite to win it.

Allen took a major leap this year to get where he was by the end of the season.  He finished the 2020 season with 46 total touchdowns (37 passing, 8 rushing, 1 receiving) and threw for 4,544 yards in the regular season.

There's no question that the weapons around him helped him to get where he was.  The acquisition of Stefon Diggs was a huge game-changer for Allen too.  He was the NFL's leading receiver with 127 receptions and 1,535 receiving yards.

Now we will have to see if year number four can put Josh Allen and the Bills over the top.  Have we already seen the best of what he has to offer?  Or is there more on the horizon for number 17?
