It seems that the TSA is loosening up on restrictions as to what passengers can carry on flights.

According to reports, travelers will be able carry small pocketknives onto planes, but the knives can only be 2.36 inches and can NOT have a lock feature or molded grip.  Here's a little more on the matter:

- You will also be able to bring small novelty/toy bats on board flights.  The bats must be less than 24 inches long and weigh less than 24 ounces.
- These other items are now permitted as carry-ons: 2 golf clubs, hockey and lacrosse sticks, billiard cues and ski poles.

Check out the examples of the knives you are allowed to bring on flights!

These changes will go into effect on April 25. Razor blades and box cutters are still prohibited.
