Buffalo Made Cereal Will Turn Your Milk Green
It doesn’t feel all that crazy to say that on a normal basis, cereal that turns your milk green would be bad. But in this case…it’s what they’re aiming for.
There’s a reason our city smells like Cheerios. It’s the General Mills plant that is right down on Ganson Street. Some days you can smell the different types of cereal that they are making. But I don’t think you’ll be able to pick these ones out from smell.
Remember when you were a kid and you’d get a bowl of Cocoa Pebbles just to end up with chocolate milk when you had scooped out the last bites of cereal? Well, General Mills is hoping that you’ll be just as excited for green milk.
Yup. As we get closer to St. Patrick’s day, they’re going to be celebrating one of the biggest holidays in Buffalo with Lucky Charms that will turn your milk green.
Sadly, there isn’t a catchy name for these ones. They’re just Limited Edition Lucky Charms with clovers that turn your milk green. They don’t even taste any different. You will have green milk when you’re done eating the cereal. But let's be honest, around St. Patrick’s Day, that’s pretty cool.
However, they are also releasing boxes that are labeled Leprechaun Trap Lucky Charms. Those ones include instructions on how to turn the box into a leprechaun trap!
They’re available at most major retailers nationwide for a limited time, while supplies last, for a suggested price of $4.73 per box.
