Earlier in March, there was a guy who was taking a laser pointer and shining it at airplanes that were landing at the Buffalo Niagara International Airport.

Finally, one of the Delta pilots were able to suggest a direction that the laser pointer was coming from. The pilot said that the laser was pointed for over a minute at the airplane. In fact, he said between 60-90 seconds.

When police officers went to knock on some doors in a nearby neighborhood and the neighbors told officers exactly where to go.

If he going to be charged and if convicted the sentence is minimum of five years in prison and a $250,000 fine.

Remember when someone used a laser pointer during a Buffalo Bills game a few years ago?

The Buffalo Bills were playing in Detroit and a Lions fan took a laser pointer and kept pointing it at the Buffalo Bills players while they were playing.

Officials found the guy.

He was 17 years old and they gave him a fine of just over 200 bucks. In addition, he was with a season ticket holder, who was a relative of his. The kid with the laser pointer is never let back into the stadium and the Detroit Lions took the rest of the season tickets away for the year from the ticker-holder.

It is amazing how officials are able to locate people who use laser pointers.
