Nashville Notes – A Girl For Brantley Gilbert

Congratulations to Brantley Gilbert and his wife Amber, they announced on Instagram that they’re expecting their second child, and it’s a girl! Their son Barret is 16 months old.

Brooks & Dunn are having a busy 2019, and told CMT they “needed to retire” in 2010, after 20 years of recording and performing. Kix Brooks said, “I think it was good for both of us. There's stuff you want to do, and when you're on the 'hillbilly treadmill' there's really no time. There wasn't any time off for us. We went twenty years without stopping."

Brooks & Dunn’s “Reboot” is out April 5.

The ACMs will bring back the “ACM Flashbacks” feature with Brooks & Dunn paired up with Luke Combs, and Miranda Lambert pairing up with George Strait. The awards are Sunday, April 7, at 8PM ET on CBS. Reba McEntire will be hosting.
