New Words Added To The Dictionary

Either we're evolving...or just giving up. Oxford has just released new words that have been added to the dictionary this month. However, I think most of them are what could be considered, "buzzwords."

Here are just a few:

• Tweet
• Flashmob
• Geekery
• Slow Jam (Thank you, Jimmy Fallon!)
• Crowdsourcing

In addition to new words, Oxford also added new "sub-entries" and "new senses."

I feel like if you can get a word to trend on Twitter, you can get it in the dictionary. Speaking of that...I wonder if "facepalm" has been added.
