The interaction between Buffalo Police and a protested in Niagara Square last week that led to the suspension and arrest of the two officers is getting more national attention after President Trump tweeted his thoughts on the event.

President Trump tweeted out his belief that the protestor could have been part of a set-up by the group ANTIFA.


President Trump tweeted that out around 9 am this morning. Both police officers pleaded not guilty in court over the weekend.

 

Local leaders have taken to social media to address the President's tweet.
