There are few words that truly express the gratitude that we all have for the brave women and men who serve our community each day. The EMS first responders go above and beyond the call of duty to keep us safe and there is a powerful tribute that will be making a return.

According to a post on Facebook, this tribute honors those who have died in the line of duty.
We took our kids to see the "parade" of EMS vehicles that escorted the EMS Memorial as it passed through Hamburg a few years ago and it is simply stunning.
The Reason Behind The Tribute
I was informed about this great tribute and the return to the area by Bob Eleczko from the Millgrove FD. Two years ago, the Memorial was here to honor his daughter, Becky, who passed away in 2021 in the line of duty.
The Route Through Western New York
The Memorial will pass through the area on June 27th around 3:30 at the Angola Service Area off of the Thruway. It will proceed to the Camp Road exit to the E-One firetruck plant where it will be greeted by dozens of other EMS vehicles and make its way down Southwestern Blvd. to Transit Road to Russell's Memorial Park where a service will take place before the Memorial makes it way on down the road toward the final destination in Arlington, VA.
