Why A Man With Gun At Buffalo Airport Could Have Avoided Charges

I'm not sure what this man was thinking when he tried to take his handgun to the airport. I have had a pistol permit for a few years and there are certain places anyone who has a permit should know you just don't carry a gun.

If you want to travel with a gun, there are ways to properly pack your weapon and have it meet you at your destination. However, it is never OK to walk in to an airport with a loaded weapon and think you will get past security. Unfortunately, this man learned the hard way.

According to Channel 2 News:

Buffalo-Niagara Airport's Transportation Security Administration say they saw the gun in the man's carry-on at the x-ray checkpoint.

The gun was taken from the man and charges have been filed.
