The Sabres are starting to get results from their hard work.  Last night in New York they won their second straight game with a 2-1 victory against the Islanders.  Both Buffalo goals came in the third period after they had fallen behind 1-0.

Matt Moulson tied it, then Sam Reinhart connected on a pass from David Legwand for his second goal of the season to give the Sabres the lead with just over six minutes to play.  From there the Sabres held on for their third win in four games.

Goaltender Linus Ulmark stopped 29 of 30 shots for his second win in as many starts.

The Sabres improve to 5-7 on the season.  They're off until Thursday night when they host the Tampa Bay Lightning.
