The last three or four weeks of weather have been pretty bad across Buffalo and Western New York. I mean, really bad. We had snow only a couple of weeks ago and I've lost count of the frost advisories, cold rain, and 40-degree temperatures since the middle of April.

However, if you're looking for summer-like weather to arrive back in Western New York, then next week is your week for sure.

According to WIVB 4 Warn Weather, we can expect all 70s and even some chances for 80-degree temperature days next week in Western New York. It will also be mostly sunny!

Usually, late May is when we really turn the corner for 70-degree days sticking around, so I guess it's normal, but spring didn't really feel like spring this year. Sure, we had some gorgeous days in there, but it was mostly colder than we would have liked. I'm fine going straight into summer.

The Beach Club at Mickey Rats is back open next Friday at 11 am, so this looks like perfect timing for some beach fun under the sun.

Then the following weekend is Memorial Day Weekend, which is always the unofficial start for summer. I know, technically mid-June is the start of summer, but once Memorial Day Weekend gets here, that's basically summer for many of us.

I'm so ready for all the fun summer activities this year.
